About me

Hi everyone!

I’m a student and sewing-enthusiast from Helsinki, Finland.

I constantly have new projects in mind and find myself spending much more than I can afford in fabric stores, though the small flat me and Boyfriend inhabit is already crammed full of everything sewing-related.

Everything I know about sewing I learned either from my grandma, my mum, 90’s Burda magazines or the internet. In August (2013) I started my journey to becoming a professional dressmaker/seamstress, so there will probably be some excited babble on this blog about that too.

In addition to sewing I enjoy painting my nails, playing video games, taking photos, reading, rummaging through flea markets, debating politics and avoiding essays. To name a few.

Your blog is so inspiring. I mean really inspiring. Your projects look so cool. Where do you find the patterns?

    • Wow, thank you! Most of the patterns are from a collection of Burda magazines I have, ranging from 1992 to 2008, though I usually modify them quite a bit. Some patterns I make myself, but right now those are just the simpler ones. :)

Great! I want to see more of your work. Oh and I’m so going to try your salmon coloured shirt. I would love to see more “easy” to make things. And thanks for replying to my message. :)
